Lab Assistant II
LocationThis position is located in Coronado, San Diego County Hours4 or 8 hour shift, weekends as needed Required Skills and Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Six months recent Clinical Laboratory employment experience Current BLS certificaiton for Healthcare providers Good communication skills Strong customer service and critical thinking skills Ability to multi-task Summary Performs or assists with pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical test processes and evaluates results produced relative to the diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of disease.
Uses equipment and related applications in completing testing and documentation processes.
Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to optimize the organization's financial success while delivering the highest quality of care and service.
Demonstrates emotional intelligence and critical thinking in job performance.
Communicates, cooperates, collaborates and takes initiative to be an effective team member.
Performing data entry of patients with different age population in a safe and quality manner; data and specimen processing; support the Sharp Experience and give excellent customer service.
Work in a team environment and also be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
